The SECRET to managing stress and burnout

So you feel excited about your day instead of feeling overwhelmed.

I was in a room full of caregivers recently, and they all just looked tired.

Not only did they look tired, and overwhelmed

They revealed to me that they were experiencing stress and burnout and didn’t know what to do to relieve the pressure of life they were feeling.

One woman shared how she doesn’t sleep well at night, just tossing and turning.

The other said she has intense body pain all over her body and has not been able to feel like herself in a long time.

The other shared that she is short, and irritable with her family and is often frustrated with them

Others could not wait to tell me about the headaches they have been experiencing.

Lack of motivation in their own lives.

And because of that, they have a lack of motivation to do the work they were hired to do.

Another person broke down crying because talking to me was the first time he was able to confront the pain he had been feeling after losing his parents back to back to COVID.

You see, he appeared like he had it all together when I first met him.n

He was smiling and being funny and was putting everyone in a good mood.

But I suspected that under that laughter was a hurt man.

A man who is sad about his life but has to laugh to keep from crying.

And I was right. At the first chance, he got to feel heard, seen and understood, and he broke down.

He broke down and could not stop crying.

And as he cried, he told me, through his tears, that he needed help. He needed someone to help him feel at peace again because he didn’t know how long he could keep going the way he had been going.n

He shared how lonely he felt.

He cried in his car daily at the thought of having to deal with people.

And would isolate himself every chance he got.

His story is very familiar to me.

Most of our clients come to us because they are tired of having to carry the load on their own and not knowing what to do.

They have been through so much in their lives already and feel like life keeps knocking them down because it’s one thing after the next.n

They feel like they can’t move forward and make progress because when they try to, something else happens that takes them out of equilibrium.

This back and forth with no clear way of getting out of this cycle has led some people to fall into this deep state of depression, sadness, frustration, and anxiety.

They find themselves in this dark place.n

And self-care becomes the last thing on their mind

Most people I have worked with come to us because they dread starting the day. After all, it feels like there is nothing to look forward to.

The sadness is still going to be there.n

The intense emotions are still going to be there.

The lack of clarity doesn’t change for them.n

Most people have even tried therapy in the past but had to stop because they thought it wasn’t working.

Or they never even tried therapy but talk to their friends and family about how they are feeling, but they end up feeling even worse because they aren’t getting the kind of perspective they are looking for.

Or they spend endless hours on YouTube trying to self-diagnose, but it just gives them even more intense anxiety that makes them feel like something is wrong with them.n

This process of trying and feeling like you aren’t going anywhere can feel exhausting and frustrating at the same time.

And can even leave you feeling hopeless, questioning what life is all about.

We don’t want you to keep running in circles.

We want you to get up every day feeling excited about your life and your work.

We want you to be able to connect with your mind and body so you aren’t overthinking everything.

We want you to feel less irritable so you can enjoy your time with the people you spend the most time with.

We want your life to be full of meaningful experiences.

We want you to be present in your body to experience all your feelings and enjoy the experience.

We want you to have the tools to be able to move through issues so you don’t always feel like you are starting over.

Here is what you can do to help you manage stress and burnout.

SEEK ADEQUATE SUPPORT

I know a lot of people use their friends as a support system.

Or worse, try to use their friends as therapists.

Your friends and family are not your therapists.

They are emotionally tied to you and are unable to help you process objectively.

They do not have the skills to help you process in a way that helps you feel seen, heard, understood, and empowered.

They may not be able to help you connect, align, and find purpose in your life.

They may even make things worse for you.

I know a lot of people worry about not having enough money for therapy.

And to those people, I say, the fact that you aren’t making yourself the number one priority is causing all the issues you are experiencing.

Most people think that prioritizing others and everything else will make them happy.

But the more I talk to people, I find out that PEACE is what most people are needing.

Peace to move freely in their bodies.

Peace to imagine a life that they desire and feel that they can achieve it.

A peace that will bring them joy and fulfillment in all areas of life.

If you are like most people who have tried everything and are just tired of getting the same result.

I want to empower you today to know that you are deserving of the life and outcome you desire.

You don’t have to keep praying and wishing; you can experience it and it can be a part of your reality.

Why keep suffering year after year when you can change things around with support?

So, getting adequate support will give you the peace you so desire and put you on a path to making all your other relationships even better. Get adequate support to work through challenging emotions.

Get adequate support for clarity.

Get adequate support to learn effective coping skills.

Get adequate support to work on confidence.

Get adequate support to create the life you want.
